Welcome to St. Paul School in Valley Cottage, New York.

Our school is in the Catholic School Region of Rockland County in the Archdiocese of New York. We are an AdvancED accredited, co-educational, Catholic school that educates students from preschool through eighth grade. For over 50 years, our active Catholic school community has been guiding students on their journey to maturity, intellectual independence, and spiritual fulfillment.

Thank you for a wonderful first school year as the assistant principal. I am blessed to be a part of such a beautiful community. The teachers, students, staff, and parents are amazing and let us not forget Mrs. Lisa.

I declare that everyone MUST take time to Rest, Read and Rejuvenate! Thank you to all of the members of the SPS community for an amazing school year!

Cannot wait to see you in the fall!

With love and blessings, Mrs. Pitot

Dear Saint Paul School Families,

I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness Jeremiah 31:3. At Saint Paul School, the teachers, students and parents do everything with great love and last week was no exception. Although, it was a very busy week, we had a fabulous field day. Thank you Mrs. Mazur, Mrs. Ucker and all the parents for their hard work and dedication. The children had a magnificent time and the weather was picture perfect.

On Tuesday, Show Biz put on their third performance of Into The Woods. The cast was just stellar; they are a very talented group of students.   A special thank you to Mrs. Hillis and Mrs. Lancellotti for their time, creativity and teaching the students that hard work and perseverance pays off.

On Wednesday, we had a BMX assembly. The focus was on Bike Safety and ways to be a Bully Free school. Ask your child about what the three Rs stand for in a bullying situation.

We concluded our week with a beautiful May Crowning. These are just a few of the examples of love that we have for school.

Pre-Schoolers and kindergarteners are preparing for the end-of-year celebration. Grades 1-7 are continuing with their curriculum studies and beginning to take some exams as we want to make sure we use every valuable minute of the school year.

In a few short weeks, the 7th grade becomes the leaders of the school as the 8th grade moves on. Their first role in this new capacity is to prepare a farewell Mass for Sr. Stephen on June 21. All are welcome to attend. More information will follow.

The 8th graders are in the middle of exams. They are getting ready to, “Go make a difference in the world!”

Please congratulate the class of 2016

Please make sure to send in your reregistration fee, as soon as possible. We can accept checks made payable to SMART. It is imperative to reregister to ensure we have the proper materials ordered for next year.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Let us remember all those who fought and died for our freedom. We thank all those serving in the armed forces, the police and the fire personnel for their dedication to our country.

God Bless,

Sr. Stephen and Mrs. Pitot

By now you should have received an invoice for re-registration from Smart. It is imperative that you mail in the fee for the 2016-17 school year no later than Friday, May 13, so that books and other materials may be purchased for your child.

Yesterday an envelope was sent home in your child’s backpack.
Please make sure you read and respond. There was a letter about the summer reading book. Please know this assignment is mandatory. The students will receive a grade in September from their new teacher.

We are excited to be offering new t-shirts and shorts just in time for field day on Monday, May 23rd. Both the t-shirts and shorts will be permitted for gym day.

Summer uniforms may be worn starting Monday, May 16th.

On Tuesday, May 17th, we will have the spring concert and celebration for Sr. Stephen.

We also have our wonderful Show Biz performances on both Friday and Saturday night. The students have worked very hard, so don’t miss this opportunity. It’s guaranteed to be a success!!!!
