St. Paul School offers a variety of activities for students to enhance their learning outside of the classroom. Students have the opportunity to become involved in CYO basketball, St. Paul’s Athletic League, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Brownies, Girl Scouts, Drama Club, and school band.

St. Paul Show Biz is a non-competitive musical theater program open to students in grades 4 through 8. Each year, the program casts and performs two musicals—one in December and a production in May. Focus is given to work on diction, projection, vocal performance, dance and acting as well as theater terminology, staging and costuming. Students can register to work as part of the cast or part of the crew (6th – 8th grade only).
The registration fee is $80.00 per student ($140.00 per family), and includes a script, music, T-shirt, costume and 2 tickets to the show. The group also includes a visit to a local high school production in the spring. Show Biz rehearsals are held on Monday afternoons from 2:30 PM – 5:00PM. Additional rehearsals may be added as needed.
Recent Show Biz productions have included The Christmas Shop Around the Corner, Shrek The Musical, Jr., The Perfect Gift, Peter Pan, Jr., The Bethlehem Project, Sleeping Beauty Kids, Jungle Book Kids, Godspell, Jr. and OZ!
St. Paul School offers an optional after-school band program under the direction of the Paul Effman Music Service. Lessons for different instruments such as flute, drums, alto saxophone, clarinet, and others are available. Students can rent or purchase instruments through the service, or they may use their own instrument. The Band Program is available to students in grades 3-8, with or without experience.
